BBC defends too-much/too-little iPhone 3G coverage
The BBC’s tech correspondent, Rory Cellan-Jones, has hit back at critics who claim the BBC went waaaaaay overboard with their coverage of the iPhone 3G - which, as Rory points out, amounted to just one news article on the BBC tech website, and one blog post also there, with almost no coverage at all on the TV and radio outlets. This does contrast with the coverage the Beeb gave the original iPhone announcement - after all, it is just, y’know, a phone - but for my two cent’s worth I think they got it about right this time around.
